Web 2.0 Tools is for teachers wanting to discover new and exciting Web 2.0 applications that can help extend personalization of learning in the classroom. Participants will learn about: the basics of creating a safe online class environment; how to appropriately prepare for using Web 2.0 Tools in the classroom; how to evaluate Web 2.0 for classroom use; and exploring many Web 2.0 Tools for Teaching and Learning. Examples of how to use Web 2.0 in the classroom, references to research of Web 2.0 tools in the classroom and various Web 2.0 tools are made accessible to participants throughout the course to assist development of innovative teaching ideas, personalized learning and student engagement. This course includes a live weekly webinar that all participants are encouraged for increased understanding of the weekly module and development of our professional teaching community. At the end of this course, you will have created a robust tool kit of Web 2.0 Tools that you can use to extend your classroom teaching.
